Three bedroom, completely remodeled, historic vacation rental in town. Sleeps 6, all linens provided.
Built in 1896 by Dr. W.B. Robertson, this house which is located next door to the Yancey County Historical Museum, is the oldest private residence in Burnsville. It was newly renovated in 2010 with all the modern amenities, but still retains the old-time charm with high ceilings, hardwood heart-of-pine floors, wool rugs, custom wormy chestnut cabinetry and woodwork throughout the house. Private steps lead to Main St where you will find art galleries, a first run movie theater, full service restaurants and our charming town square.
